Today marks the 7th anniversary of the #Grenfell Tower fire, and our thoughts are with all those affected 🏢💚 The tragedy led to significant changes in building safety legislation, and we have taken major steps to ensure customers are safe. 📝 We signed the Building a Safer Future Charter; showing our commitment to putting the safety of our customers first. ✅ We registered all our high-rise blocks with the Building Safety Regulator to ensure we are held accountable. 🧯 We carry out weekly detection system tests, quarterly maintenance inspections and visit our blocks every year to undertake fire safety inspections (with our Directors, Board Members and customers). 🏢 We inspect our high-rise buildings every five years to identify any structural changes. 🎥 We’ve produced videos to show customers what’s involved in our yearly inspection of flat entrance doors and 3-monthly inspection of communal fire doors in medium and high-rise blocks. Ensuring the safety of our customers and the maintenance of our homes has always been a top priority for us, and we will continue to work with our customers, partners and regulators to keep people safe.
