The WCJC Pioneers baseball team recently took part in the Bregman Cares Classic baseball tournament in Sugar Land. After dropping the first game against Paris Junior College, 9-2, the Pioneers bounced back to win against Navarro College, 7-1, and Grayson College, 7-5.

A career training grant will provide new opportunities for WCJC's Automotive Technology program. Through the Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grant, WCJC will receive more than $316,000 for the automotive program.
