I'm 34.
7 years ago, I won millions as Singapore's

Now, I've bet over $1B, travelled the globe 50 times, meditated over 1000h in a year exploring the pineal gland and DMT pops.
A thread on how I did it:
This is Dan Sullivan.
The OG business coach.
The coach to Peter Diamandis, Joe Polish and hundreds of millionaires.
I spent $25,000 to learn from him.
Here are 10 pieces of wisdom that transformed my business (and will do the same for yours):
@DanielPriestley
I bought 3 businesses in the UK.
Big mistake.
I gave up on them and moved back to Singapore.
Workers like to complain. Complainers do not work.
Most people are NPCs.
They do what they're told.
They silently beg to be led.
They believe without questioning.
They can't tell who knows what.
NPCs can be happy.
But fulfillment is another story.
You have many NPC friends.
Stop letting them project their beliefs unto you.
A strange rule I use to make multi-million dollar decisions.
Flip a coin.
(when I'm stuck)
Because if it's that close and you can't decide...
A or B is better than not deciding.
Manifestation is 50% above the neck and 50% below the neck.
Thoughtful intention.
Deliberation action.
Visualize all you want, but only sex makes babies.
One year ago, I visited an average looking waterfall.
Forgettable.
This year I visited it again and it was one of the highlights of my Iceland trip.
Same place, different weather.
Even the mountains have bad days too.
Rookies try things once and give up.

You bet on people.
A slow person does things slow.
A fast person does things fast.
It's easier to bet on a winning horse than to teach a pig to run fast.
Do what works.
Do what works more.
Do what mores even more.
Do what works until it stops working.
Then find something that works.
Do what works again.
Until it doesn't.
Repeat.
Discipline and freedom are not opposites.
They're partners.
Discipline is not a lack of freedom, but a harmonious relationship with time.
Look around.
The person with the most freedom often has the most discipline.
There are no shortcuts.
When you win the lottery, you're not immediately rich.
When you speed-read a book, you miss out on most of the value of the book.
When you buy someone's "make money fast" system, you're making them money fast.
Stop seeking shortcuts.
Do the work.
And to the one person who read this insanely long thread (I love you Mum):
You'll enjoy my daily newsletter "The Wayne Yap Minute" in my bio.
Aptly inspired by some unlucky ladies who call me:

The goal of art
isn't to attain perfection.
The goal is to
share who we are.
The goal of business
isn't to please everyone
The goal is to
make someone's life better.
Today, I gave a busker $10.
As I gave that $10, I felt a deep sense of joy and gratitude in my heart.
But I have a confession to make.
I haven't given that much for the last 3 years.
Somewhere along the way, I forgot about:
• giving
• kindness
• speaking with warmth
•
We're linear-minded.
But the world is cyclical and exponential.
You'll see fractal patterns all over nature.
And this is why we misjudge compound effect.
Follow the flow to life and thrive.
everything is 1s and 0s.
1 is the masculine. 0 is the feminine.
1 is the magnetic. 0 is the electric.
1 is positive. 0 is negative.
1 gives. 0 receives.
writing. reading.
penis. vagina.
yang. yin.
1. 0.
At any point of your day, you're either:
unaware / aware
unintentional / intentional
When you slip into the unintentional...
Remember that being intentional is one choice away.
And you can choose it NOW.
Mediocrity should scare the shit out of you.
If you haven't made millions yet, you're still mediocre.
You can defend yourself and claim not to be mediocre.
Or you can pursue mastery.
Your choice.
Still not making at least $1m?
Here are 10 common mistakes new entrepreneurs make:
1. You take adopted rules for absolute truths.
2. You wait for permission before taking action.
3. You don't go all-in on things that are working.
4. You continue to do things that aren't
I was born in a million-dollar house in Singapore. Throughout childhood, my family moved to a smaller house every 3 years.
I had a chip on my shoulder and bought fake Adidas shoes to fit in.
I grew up in love with 3 things - Math, Bowling and Computer Games.
Give yourself 69 days.
69 days of posting daily on X.
69 days of writing for 30 minutes.
69 days of DMing people to make friends.
Put in the minutes, hours and days. That's how you grow.
Even when one speaks and another listens, communication happens in two directions.
When you listen with total presence, the other speaks differently.
You block the flow when you tune out.
When you listen impatiently, you're not listening.
What I do when I feel overwhelmed:
Write down my One Thing.
There's always something more important than the other things.
If you at least finish your One Thing daily,
you win.
Yes. I fought with my parents all the time just to eat in front of the PC and not miss out on progress.
You'd probably think I'm an asshole but the multiple times I got a blowjob from my girlfriend while I played would tell you how obsessed I was.
WoW > BJ.
And then I got bored.
So I spent the next 1.5 years playing World of Warcraft. 18-hour days.
From bed to computer.
I would start the game immediately and only use the restroom when I had lull periods in game.
Spirituality may not speak to you if you mainly dwell in the intellect.
Or if you equate the word with blind belief.
That was me...
I even meditated to enhance my intellect.
Until one day, I "popped".
Then 10+ pops in the next year.
Now I believe.
Through experience.
I've bet over a billion dollars in my lifetime.
When I played poker, it's common to bet $10k, $100k or even $1m per hand.
Here are 5 bets I'm making for 2025-2030
Next, I went all-in on Dr. Joe Dispenza retreats.
I learned the science of turning Melatonin into DMT through your breath and cerebral spinal fluid.
In the 8h meditations... We look into "the cone" of the pineal gland and dissolve into the fractal pattern.

Too much power can kill you.
Too much distraction and you do nothing.
But... Like power... A little distraction is useful.

Liquor, Ladies & Leverage
They can all get you. Bankrupt you. Ruin you.
They can also give you the best time of your life and make you rich.
Leverage has somewhat of a bad rep in many circles...
But it's a key business principle worth understanding.
In 2018, I invested $105k to learn from Tony Robbins.
Or $150k if you include the hotels and flights.
(10 trips to the US, 2 trips to Europe, 1 trip to Australia)
Here are the 3 biggest lessons I'll keep forever:
1. State-Story-Strategy.
First, you change your state. Then
Run away.
But we’re running in circles.
Run away. Run away. Run away.
Certain lyrics stick because of circular truth.
Admit it or not, we're all running away from something.
Anyway. I can't remember why I suddenly quit. As far as I remember, I just got bored of it.
A few months later, I found the game of poker again.
My friends and I would climb out of the school gate and skip school to play at a friend's house.
Being the poorest kid in my bowling team, I often begged my friends' Dad to give me a ride (heavy balls).
Once, a fishmonger driving a BMW promised to send me home after a league.
When he conveniently forgot, I had to drag my 4 bowling balls for 20min to the nearest bus stop.

A hiring arbitrage I keep using over and over again:
Hire someone who has a winning mindset.
Being a winner in one thing often translates to winning in other things.
A winner is a winner is a winner.
A loser is a loser is a loser.

There are 2 beliefs about content writing.
1. Write what you want and are inspired by.
2. Write with the benefit of the audience in mind.

Here's why I still made $3m+ in poker and have 7-figure businesses.
