Our first guest doesn't need much of an introduction, he doesn't need much hype for everyone to get excited, nor does he need a host for his panel. Please welcome Mr. William Shatner to the 2025 Washington State Summer Con lineup in Puyallup from June 20th through the 22nd. It is an honor and privilege to host the legendary Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor for the second time at Summer Con. He had so much fun in 2022, and was so excited to return that he already announced his appearance two days ago on his socials! William Shatner has notched up an impressive 70-plus years in front of the camera, displaying heady comedic talent and being instantly recognizable to several generations of cult television fans as the square-jawed Captain James T. Kirk, commander of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise. In 1966, Shatner boarded the USS Enterprise for three seasons of Star Trek with the series eventually becoming a bona-fide cult classic with a worldwide legion of fans known as "Trekkies". After the Star Trek television series, Shatner spent the rest of the decade in the 1970s making the rounds guest-starring on many prime-time television series, including Hawaii Five-O, Marcus Welby, M.D. and Ironside. The 1980s saw a major resurgence in Shatner's career with the renewed interest in the original Star Trek series culminating in a series of 7 big-budget "Star Trek" feature films. William starred in the police series T.J. Hooker from 1982 to 1986, alongside Heather Locklear, and surprised many fans with his droll comedic talents in Airplane II, Loaded Weapon 1, Dodgeball, and Miss Congeniality. Shatner also starred in the television series The Practice and its spin-off Boston Legal. Shatner has used his voice talents in Star Trek: The Animated Series, Over the Hedge, The Wild, Escape from Planet Earth. Come meet the legendary Captain James T. Kirk at the Washington State Summer Con on Friday and Saturday, June 20th and 21st. Mr. Shatner will be with us signing autographs, taking pro photos, and speaking another can't-miss panel on the Summer Con stage. Tickets are on sale February 14th at: @WilliamShatner
