What do you look for in a good house under construction? Kenyan investors will rightly tell you that if you don't trust a developer you keep off. But when you trust one, make sure you purchase his houses at the groundbreaking stage to strike a hot deal. IMPALA PALMS APARTMENTS are the talk of town in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado county. The houses are being put up by Impala Developers, a real estate division of Impala Group of Companies. And even with one visit you can tell they are simply fabulous. They are located on Ole Sakuda Road about 7km from Rongai Town. The apartments are just 250m off the Rongai-Kiserian road, very near Kaiser Hill Academy. They are 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartments ideal for young families and those who want to invest in apartments. I visited the apartments recently and in my estimation the entire project is about 50%+ complete but more than 50% sold out. @IMPALADEVELOPER have an Open Day at Impala Palms Apartments on 8th & 9th February from 10AM to 5PM. Be there and find out if I have good estimation skills. For inquiries, call: 0782467252 / 0746934124.

AS @WilliamsRuto was having telephone conversation with King Charles discussing peace and security in East Africa, I was having a brief conversation with my lawyer and mentor Gitobu Imanyara discussing detentions in Moi era. I bumped into him somewhere with two friends and that topic came up quickly when someone asked me if Moi ever abducted us during our university days when Imanyara was our advocate. Imanyara is one of the Moi era detainees and one of the MPs who shook Parliament in the 90s. Everyone agreed that while as the detentions without trial were violation of the basic human rights, at least they were executed with some decorum. You would be picked up and in a few days your detention would be gazetted and announced on VOK at 1pm. If you needed a lawyer you would be allowed to hire one. Some people like Wanyiri Kihoro would be flown on a light aircraft from Naivasha Prison to Nairobi for his case, represented by Kiraitu Murungi. TODAY, government critics in their 20s are picked up... nothing is heard about them, the Inspector General of Police announces publicly that he has no idea where they are, .... Only for their bodies to be discovered in a GOVERNMENT public mortuary. That's why @realDonaldTrump is calling us out. I wonder whether King Charles said anything about that in the Majestic conversation.

VOTING for the AUC chair and vice chair is by secret ballot and I have never understood why. It's the sole decision of the Head of State casting the ballot and he/she will go to the grave with the secret. So, the whole of Uganda in their millions will never get to know who Museveni voted for.

Good morning again Let's agree that being drawn in a casket is no longer offensive. It's now even fashionable. I think it's even becoming like a Badge of Honour. Any national figure who has not already been placed in a casket is politically insignificant and not worth offending. If your critics are not spending ample time on you, then you are not worth it. The society has a way of healing and demystifying that which looks unthinkable. So, stop the abductions and release the abductees, it's now irrelevant.

MY good brother @kipmurkomen. I am happy, very happy that you are holding the most powerful docket in Kenya (Interior). I remember how some of your own brothers and sisters in your hometown celebrated when you had been fired. Remember the "watch debate" that is now forgotten. Remember how we worked so hard to explain the simple watch and you even apologized for the crime of having a watch. It was like the only watch in the whole Republic of Kenya. Remember how I came to your support. I have never so genuinely supported someone else in this admin. And when William Samoei Ruto failed to reappoint you round one, I became a laughing stock. But I knew what was going on in State House and I knew 💯 you would come back. You did. The laughter shifted to the docket you were given. They called you a joker for being handed Sports down from Transport. I still believe you belong to Transport but Interior is good enough. NOW my brother, don't let us go back to where we were with the watch issue. Don't start making people think you are drunk with power. Please. Kenyans are very judgemental. I know you and I know you are not a power hungry guy. But many other Kenyans don't. So, don't try hard to make you think that you are this arrogant man who must chest thump under the power of the presidency. You are learned. Leave that to the likes of Oscar Sudi. I support you on the position that anyone breaking the law must be dealt with in accordance with the law. That's all what Kenyans have been saying. You captured the boys who have been drawing the president, why were they not taken to court instead of being detained for days? You are an advocate. Encourage your government especially officers under your docket to arrest offenders with the dignity prescribed in the constitution and to bring them to court. We are always ready to meet their accusers at the dock, including the president himself. Remember after all this, you have a community to retire to.

AT the School of Journalism we were reminded to always ask a question before writing an article or a story, "who am I writing for"? I ask myself that question every time I pick my phone or laptop to type a post on FB or X. "am I writing for myself or for someone else?" If I am writing for myself, then it's unnecessary. I don't have to waste the time and energy. Even an opinion without an audience is useless. If you are writing for someone else, you then have a choice to lie to them or to write the truth. It's usually a very clear choice. There are two risks of writing lies. 1. You may end up believing your own lies especially if you are consistent. This is dangerous. 2. You form this near permanent belief or thinking that all your audience are fools or naive or stupid. In a matter of time, the audience gets to realise how you regard them. The two risks are what the old and the new team of government bloggers have decided to take

A NEW ID card printing machine will be delivered next week and the destination is Eldoret. It's a Matica’s S5200G Via Cassarinetta 9, 6900 Lugano Switzerland. That's the Physical address of purchase. Meanwhile banks have been told to stop printing ATM cards at branch level coz the same machines are now under control of xxx. It's the same machine which can print an ID card in small scale

THE truth is this. 1. William Ruto can ONLY be removed by another candidate in 2027 so as we shout how he must go we must also shout who must come ( a real name of an existing person) 2.. Such a candidate MUST be a man (male human being) 3. That other candidate must be NEW on ballot but well known, candid, brave, all rounded, clean and acceptable across board by different age groups and communities. 3. Should such a candidate emerge, he will send William Ruto home with a margin of more than 2 million votes. Signed WT

TO Directorate of Criminal Investigations - @DCI_Kenya ♦We lawyers who represent criminal suspects have always educated them on the Rights of an arrested person. I have done it on this page in in numerous fora. ♦Now that you have stated that abduction is a serious crime and that the DCI does not condone abductions, can you use the same platform to educate the public on what they should expect from your officers when they come to make arrests. We want you to be responsible and accountable. ♦Provide the public with an A to Z checklist of what your officers should produce and how they should carry themselves. After all we pay you to work for us. ♥You can't purport to be very humble and law abiding on your social media platforms yet kwa ground your officers behave like goons when literally abducting Kenyans.

MEN, when you visit your shags, (actual home) do you step out to that shopping centre just near there to hear what other local men your childhood playmates think about this life, this country and this world? It's one of the things you should do countless times and without any regards to your perceived class or status. And not to lecture them, just to listen and exchange thoughts. Otherwise one day you will realise why you needed to do it. And it might be abit late.

I HAD a dream of some youth abductions. Can't recall how it went, but my advise is the same as what I have seen elsewhere. To everyone, especially young people, avoid making some posts online. @WilliamsRuto is NOT Uhuru Kenyatta, he can't stand it. Since July he got the perception that the youth are out to remove him from power and he resolved to meet them outside 18. And he has been ruthless. And with Raila, Uhuru, the likes of Kasamuel and all your MPs and MCAs and now even political losers and bloggers eating at his table, you are only left with Wahome Thuku to make noise when you are in trouble. Avoid some content.

95% of @WilliamsRuto /Kindiki bloggers are Kikuyus. They are former Azimio blogger defectors. The regime had to hunt for them. This week alone they are taking home fat cheques from your taxes for just posting "God bless our DP". Yet a Kaleo in Eldoret has never tasted a coin of this government and still feels more entitled than all Gikiyu Embu and Meru combined. Ni bangi
