GBF is almost a 10 year old gacha which is Super Rare. The average lifespan of a gacha game is about 4 or 5 years, so the fact they’re performing such a huge update means they anticipate it to survive another 10.
That’s wild.
If all goes well, you basically won't notice a difference at all in the game - the updates are meant to fix 10+ years of tech debt in the game's combat system, which essentially required rewriting it from the ground up. It will lighten server load and hasten bug response time.
