@girlcloudnine I think one of the reasons people are so reluctant, sometimes even reacting with with hostility, to improving their literacy skills is because they're by themselves. There isn't a collective effort to participate in and learn with other people.

I have some sympathy for people who were crypto scammed a few years ago before most people knew much about it, but if you're knowingly and willingly buying crypto "memecoins" in 2024 that's 100% your fault. Zero sympathy! Hailey Welch did nothing wrong.

@reynoldsgareth The Party's leadership and it's fundraising apparatus faces no consequences for losing to Republicans. The same is not true for losing to left wing candidates. There are few incentives to winning in a general election.
