fresh food is really expensive here. in fact there are towns a called food deserts since there is are no fresh, healthy, and nutritious food that the residents of the town can access for at least 10 or more miles away. most of the food deserts are in low income and rural areas.

probably because chicken can carry the salmonella bacteria and can pass it onto their offspring’s. the cdc estimates that 1 in every 20,000 eggs carry the salmonella infection. but thats mostly only if they’re not pasteurized. it’s unlikely to get salmonella from pasteurized eggs
