Richard Sherman has played Matthew Stafford 4 times in his career.
Matthew Staffords total stats:
1161 Passing Yards, 7 Total TDs, 1 INT
Richard Sherman has never picked off or gotten a pass deflection on Mathew Stafford.
Someone’s just frustrated that he can’t compete.
Lions now have two players in the middle of their D-line who ranked in the Top 10 by
@PFF
against the run last year – Alim McNeill (8th) & DJ Reader (10th)
How can the lions make the playoffs? I’m glad you asked!
1. Lions Win out
2. Vikings lose to Seahawks, Lions, and Bears/Dolphins
3. Eagles lose to Rams
4. Redskins lose 2 games
5. Panthers lose 1 game
6. Packers lose 1 game (Lions)
7. Bucs lose 1 game
DK: “You haven’t seen a 6’3’’, 230 lbs, run a 4.33 with a 40.5 inch vertical”
Actually
Calvin Johnson was 6’5’’, 239 lbs, ran a 4.35 with a 42.5 inch vertical. Just sayin.
BRUUUUH D.K. is cold as hell🥶, Stephen A. Smith really tried to clown on him and this mf looked him dead in the eyes with a stone cold killer look, and shut him up on his own show with his facts.💀❄️🤧 My mans knows he really is something else, don't try to tell him otherwise
-The Lions where 4/5 on 4th down
-Jared Goff played incredible
-Oline played incredible
-Justin Jefferson was held to 14 yards… OKUDAH!!!
-Jamaal showing us why he’s a 1B to Swifts 1A
-St. Brown is still that guy
-Reynolds killed it
Just remember these things as you overreact
Wait hold up…
Monty needs 90 rushing yards in two games and Gibbs needs 128 rushing yards in two games to reach 1,000 rushing yards each.
If that’s accomplished they’d be just the 8th pair of teammates in NFL history to each record 1000 yards rushing in a season.
Anyone else notice how Houston and Paschal win there one on one matchup. Cominsky takes up the center. then hutch gets triple teamed by the LT, LG, and HB
Sam Laporta needs…
398 yards to break the NFL record for receiving yards by a TE
17 receptions to break the NFL record for receptions by a TE
6 touchdowns to break the NFL record for touchdowns by a TE
He needs to average 80 yards, 4 REC, 1.2 TD over 5 games
Since the Pistons won the draft lottery on June 22…
Tigers 9-4
Lions 0-0
Pistons 0-0
Red Wings 0-0
It’s very early but this is the beginning of the tides turning for Detroit Sports!
Free agency:
-Every NFC north team goes and gets a starting RB
-Detroit gets the best run defender in FA to counter
NFL draft:
-Bears get a QB and WR
-Vikings get a QB
-Lions go and get two DBs to counter
Chess not checkers.
Realized we are playing at Chicago this coming Sunday so had to go see what the weather forecast looked like for Chicago…
- 7 inches of snow
- 35 degrees right around game time
- wind chill of 20-25 degrees during game time
- 20 mph winds
Yikes.
Wait so you are telling me that Hutch has more career sacks than Chase Young…
He accomplished this in his rookie year.
And Chase Young won DROY in 2020.
How does he not win DROY
There has never been a single person on a Detroit Lions team that I hope we resign more than Jamaal Williams. He needs to stay… his impact on the field is so damn good and off the field it’s even better.
How the hell am I just finding out that the Lions are the first team in NFL history to not fumble the ball through the first six games of a season!?!?!?
There has only been two seasons in Detroit Lions history where our QB has thrown the ball over 450 times and thrown less than 10 interceptions.
2022 Jared Goff (587 Attempts, 7 INT)
2021 Jared Goff (494 Attempts, 8 INT)
For all the Detroit Lions fans that are rooting for the Cardinals tonight…
👏🏻 A 👏🏻 10 👏🏻 SPOT 👏🏻 DIFFERENCE 👏🏻 LATE 👏🏻 IN 👏🏻 THE 👏🏻 FIRST 👏🏻 ROUND 👏🏻 DOES 👏🏻 NOT 👏🏻 MATTER! 👏🏻
I’m off twitter after this…
But from todays game it looks like twitter fans have learned that…
1. Hutch’s only move is a spin
2. Jamo is a “track star in pads”
3. The Lions are frauds
4. Goff is fine till he plays a good team
This is what we call “overreacting”
Detroit Lions rookie watch:
Rodrigo: 3rd in total tackles
K Joseph: 4th (Tied) in total tackles
Hutch: 1st in sacks
J Houston: 2nd (tied) in sacks
K Joseph: 2nd (tied) in INT
Hutch: 3rd (Tied) in INT
K Joseph: 2nd (Tied) in forced fumbles
Rodrigo: 3rd (Tied) in forced fumbles
Trey Flowers, Damon Harrison, Mike Daniels, A’Shawn Robinson, Dashawn Hand, Devon Kennard, Romeo Okwara.
Lmao throw in the towel... Lions the best defensive line in the league and it’s not even close!
Penei Sewell
Aidan Hutchinson
Amon Ra St Brown
Malcolm Rodriguez
Alim McNeil
What do they all have in common?
1. They were all drafted by Brad Holmes
2. They are legitimate cornerstones on this team.
Lions hit 133.6 decibels in last Sundays game.
The NFL record is held by Kansas City in Arrowhead with 142.2 decimals.
Y’all think we can beat this on Sunday?
So Amon-Ra St. Brown is currently tied for an NFL record for most consecutive games of 8+ Rec and a receiving touchdown.
He’s also tied for third all time with 7 consecutive games of 8+ Catches.
All while being only 22.
And no one is talking about it.
Literally out of Detroit’s control. There was a recent line of hats that dropped for each NFL team. Each hat has the first letter of the teams name. If you did some god damn research you would know this. Such a lazy take. It really is
#DetroitVsEverybody
"The Lions have come out with a new hat. Look at it. It's got an L for losers. The losingest franchise in pro sports has a giant L on their hat."

@ColinCowherd
I still think about how Patricia inherited an 8-8, borderline playoff team with a top 10 QB and managed to make them a bottom 5 team in the NFL. All while setting the franchise back multiple years.
Where I stand with the Lions franchise… a thread
1. I’m not giving up on Dan Campbell or Brad Holmes. They get the full length of their contract to get it right.
2. I’m out on Jared Goff. Would prefer a high QB selection in the 2023 draft.
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Detroit Lions 2022 draft picks...
Two 1st round picks
One 2nd round pick
Two 3rd round picks
Zero 4th round picks
Two 5th round picks
Two 6th round Picks
One 7th round pick
That comes out to 10 draft picks with 5 picks in the top 100!
Update on Amon Ra St. Browns record breaking start to his career…
St. Brown is 18 receptions away from breaking the record for most receptions in his first two seasons.
Top three seasons of punting average in Detroit Lions History…
1. Jack Fox 49.2 (2021)
2. Jack Fox 49.1 (2020)
3. Jack Fox 48.6 (2022)
Three years running for the punt god
Sutton/Okudah/Mosley/Jacobs all interchangeable at the outside corner spots.
CGJ/Walker/Jacobs rotating at the nickel CB slot. (Maybe okudah?)
CGJ/Walker rotating as the box safety
Kerby playing centerfield in the back.
This is about to get ducking crazy!
Sam Laporta is currently on pace to
1. Shatter the receptions record by a rookie TE.
2. Finish second in receiving yards by a rookie TE. (22 yard difference)
His current stat line through 3 games is: 18 rec, 186 yards, 1 TD
He’s on pace for:
102 Rec, 1054 yards, 5-6 TD
Matthew Stafford is the definition of a professional... I hope he plays out his career in Detroit and then continues to be apart of the team after he retires. Greatest Lions QB of all time!
"When I was 18, if you had told me I was gonna spend 11 years in Detroit, I'd have told you, 'You're crazy.'"
Matthew Stafford told
@wxyzdetroit
he's fallen in love with Detroit, and playing quarterback for the Lions.
It’s crazy to think that the Lions have two players (Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones) tied for the league lead in touchdowns (8), and yet we still haven’t been able to win more than three games.
I wish people saw the same “put it all on the line” mentality in Matthew Stafford as they do Blake Griffin. Both players leave it all on the field/court for their city. One gets recognized the other doesn’t.
Total receptions in first two years…
Justin Jefferson: 196
Michael Thomas 196
Amon Ra St. Brown: 166 (5 games left)
Larry Fitzgerald: 161
Jaylen Waddle: 160 (5 games left)
Anquan Boldin: 157
Randy Moss: 149
Marvin Harrison: 137
Jerry Rice: 135
Calvin Johnson: 126
I play
@EAMaddenNFL
religiously but holy shit y’all screwed the pooch on these ratings. Might not even buy it.
Stafford a 79. Marvin Jones higher rating than Golladay. Slay under a 90. Diggs not a Top 20 safety. Kerryon not a top 25 RB...
Who made these ratings? Ebron?
Gonna start a thread of tweets from former players in regards to Patricia being fired. Gonna keep adding throughout the day. This should be interesting.

Jan 14, 2021 - Hires Brad Holmes as GM

I just want to say I still love you Stafford. You were our enemy for the last three hours but you’re back to holding a special place in my heart.
That being said… Jared Goff is our guy. Ride with him for as long as we can. He’s officially the best QB in lions history.
Ayo come the fuck on. That’s some bullshit. We beat the defending Super Bowl champs with the best QB in the league. We ain’t gonna let anyone take that away from us.
