This is very true. There is definitely value in being able to DO something, but it doesn't mean you fully understand it. One should ALWAYS use their own brain/logic to make sense of things and never blindly trust loud voices, especially when they state their opinions as facts.
We as aimers need to stop assigning so much value to people based on scores alone. So much more should go into who we decide to listen to as community members, and what happened back with Shimmy was just one example where misplaced credibility led to misinformation spreading.
