On 12/20/76, Quenette Shehane was kidnapped and murdered in Birmingham, AL. Her death was the beginning of the victims' rights movement in Alabama. Her mother, Miriam Shehane, learned first-hand that crime victims had no rights in the criminal justice system. Forty-eight STRONG.
