Christmas Eve old would meets new world. Porseleinberg 2015 in 1850 decanter☺️. Superb expression of #Syrah Lots of tapenade and cured bacon with white pepper. Long and satisfying mouthfeel and very long finish. Excellent start to the holidays

Wonderful old school SA wine. Blue chip through and through. Excellent cassis and blackberry on the nose. Smooth and long. Many years ahead for this wine.

It’s Autumn so it’s Roast Pork. A wonderful Barbera D’Alba a perfect foil. Elio Grasso is an artist with this grape. Stunning fruit and spice on the nose and so silky smooth on the palate which just oozes class. #Italy does it again. 🥰

Superb Rose from #Bandol ⁦@domainetempier⁩ one of the best Rose you can find. Full of creamy strawberries textured and crunchy. Long finish

Wonderful finish to my Paris trip with a 1996 #sauternes from chateau fargues. Nose redolent of manuka honey and toffee apple. Plentiful fruit and long finish. Magnifique 😀

Superb #burgundy from the wonderful 2015 vintage. Rich powerful fruit with wonderful raspberry and wild strawberries. Fantastic integrated tannins and acidity with long fruit finish. Perfect with roast duck 🥰😘
