One of the lost citizens of the mystical forest, whom Dingo befriends.
The blue fragment on her chest is a Moon Shard, which grants the user an ability.
Her special power is levitation, so she can use it to float off the ground and pick up objects from afar

She’s a peppy photographer and filmmaker who hangs around with Dingo as part of his inner circle. She’s more on the creative side as president of their school’s film club and likes chatting about shows and movies.

Special Powers ⭐️
Both Dingo and Sophia carry their own Moon Shard which radiate “Celestial Energy”.
This grants them temporary powers that can be used in combat.

Sophia’s creation differs from Dingo. I based her off some real friends I once had. They used to get into trouble a lot and were mostly a bad influence for me. But they were accepting and supportive, so they weren’t terrible. I thought maybe Dingo could have someone like that.

A little fun fact about Dingo, he was originally based off my old Mii avatar from the Wii era. But as I grew older, I noticed my Mii didn’t represent me at all, so it felt like he was kinda his own person. I thought he’d work great as a mascot for my art accounts that came after.

I never really want animation to feel like some guilty pleasure. I always try to find something to admire in any animated show or movie because REAL people work on them. This is why I think more people should actively practice their creative skills. It helps to respect the medium

Although she’s been gifted with these powers, she’s not typically the kind of person who was meant to carry them. She’s a bit of a troublemaker, so she occasionally takes advantage of the Moon Shard for personal gain, such as stealing from others

If I remember from my old 2015 sketchbooks, she was initially supposed to be a love interest for him. But as I kept doodling, I thought they’d work better in a platonic relationship. It would suit the dynamic of a good kid being friends with a bad one.

This design depicts that change. Pink isn’t really her color, and she even hates wearing dresses and shoes. But, she puts on this kind of outfit to try something new. In doing so, we start to see a new side of her where she’s more affectionate and determined to do better.

In the comic, Sophia is a thief who was abandoned by the people she once trusted. She lost herself in a forest and learned to survive. This caused her to become careless and independent. So, she’s convinced she’ll never be able to rely on others, but deep down she wants to change

His magic hat comes with its own “Skill Tree”. When he collects energy orbs on his adventures, he can alter his Moon Shard to give him new abilities, such as Regeneration or Reflection.

Moon Shards are naturally assigned to an owner, blocking access for others to use it. But, since Dingo’s Moon Shard is assigned to his hat, anyone who wears it can use its power.

However, Dingo’s case is unique in that his Moon Shard resides within a magic hat. The hat takes up all the radiation so that he doesn’t wear himself out, unlike Sophia. After using an ability, he’ll store it back in his hat to recharge.
