@excid3 Do you know if this method can be extended in Rails 8 code, so it provides the unsaved record, so we can use other attributes? In my case, I would like to set Page.slug depending on attribute. But, normalizes has access to slug only.

Rails 7.1's normalizes method is one of my favorite improvements. No more overriding setter methods or defining before_validation callbacks. Plus it ignores nil values by default.

@excid3 If you like, we can play MP together. I will start right after release, 6 AM CET. But, I can warn you: I am playing this game for a long time 😝. #Civ7 #onemoreturn

@igor_alexandrov I think we have here a misunderstanding. The association extensions are not for nested forms :).

@robzolkos I just found out I reimplemented pretender with around 40 LOC, using Devise (could be Rails default) and CanCanCan😅.

@tomiwaAdey @nateberkopec I would start with M Views first. So much easier. But, replicas with Rails 7+ is no problem at all.
