@excid3 Do you know if this method can be extended in Rails 8 code, so it provides the unsaved record, so we can use other attributes? In my case, I would like to set Page.slug depending on attribute. But, normalizes has access to slug only.
Rails 7.1's normalizes method is one of my favorite improvements. No more overriding setter methods or defining before_validation callbacks. Plus it ignores nil values by default.
