Yes, a 1000 years ago, the #Vikings made ships this big. The "Draken Harald Hårfagre" is the largest reconstructed Viking ship and is based on the Norse sagas, archaeological findings and Norwegian boatbuilding traditions. In 2016, the ship sailed from Norway to Newfoundland, CA.
