PokerGPT is officially live! 🎉 It’s been several months in the making and in beta testing but I’m super excited to finally unveil it to the world! Give it a try and let me know what you think 🙂 I’ve been using it to: 1. Get instant feedback and analysis on handS I’ve played 2. Keep a log of my hands across sessions Eventually it will also build a profile of you as a player from your hand histories and be able to identify your leaks and tendencies to customize the feedback for you.

Dennis just locked in a 1-year office lease @VSpaceTO for his team to grind poker and build a media empire 💪 Just finished filming a 1-hr podcast with him on: - the future of the poker industry (tech, business models, etc.) - why poker needs an ELO system - how he grew to 35K followers on IG in 60 days - poker as a medium for self improvement, relationships, and entrepreneurship Some members of his team make 6-figures grinding low stakes poker online and we’ll be brining some of them in as guest coaches at @vclubpoker for future Mastery Monday sessions.

Just dropped $5K to make some major upgrades to our @vclubpoker live streaming set up. In a few months we’ll be doing renovations to build an epic stage, get multiple PTZ cameras installed on the walls, lights and more. Estimating it’ll cost us $40-50K to run a high quality stream.

We were going through similar convos recently (in the end decided to not sell). Context: E-commerce, high margins, 3x industry average EBITDA, 50-100% growth YoY, bootstrapped, growth mainly driven from organic IG and TT, but my wife was face of the business. - <$1M EBITDA would get us 2-4x ->$1M EBITDA would get 5-8x Higher end of those ranges driven by: 1. Having a reliable growth engine outside of organic content made by my wife (we’ve since done this w ads) 2. Having more recurring revenue (eg subscriptions for us, for you perhaps more memberships vs one-off course sales) 3. Finding a strategic buyer that would pay a premium. For us, this was finding a) someone in love with the brand and storytelling, b) another bath company that could easily integrate products to create bundles, etc. For you- maybe a finance firm that could see this as a pipeline for talent.

Excited to potentially do the first of our equity for rent deals soon 💪
How equity for rent would work: - say market rent is 2K - Sign a 1-year lease where that rent agreement is worth 2 * 12 = 24K and treat it as if we invest 24K into your startup - Do it on a SAFE at the same valuation as most recent funding And voila! Extend your runway by not having to pay any cash for rent for 1+ years.
