We're too early! But what if? bla bla
Just apply to
@ycombinator
- deadline 27th
I applied on a whim with literally just an idea, no co-founder, no name, nothing. I put one of my buddies who was an engineer on the application just to pass.
Guess what! We did NOT get in. Still
Just had my first day meeting the
@ycombinator
Summer 24 batchmates and partners 🚀🚀
Incredibly kind, driven, and cool people.
Starting to get what makes YC special
Day 3 of the
@ycombinator
retreat
3 things from the Partner talks:
1. Be stubborn enough for a long enough time to will your business to success
2. Expect more from yourself
3. Don’t play status games
Keeping this in mind building

@ycombinator
’s new Fall batch!
Let me share one thing; you’re never too early and applying multiple times is a great sign you’re serious about it!
1) Focus on building something 100 people love
2) Keep running your own company
Incredibly inspiring and insightful talk from
@bchesky
on his
@Airbnb
journey
Honestly, I felt such gratitude for having the opportunity to build our startup
@ConveoAI
in
@ycombinator
Gonna work on
Still incredibly inspired after the
@ycombinator
retreat this week
Awesome to hear the partners share their insights in such a close setting!
Still can’t believe we got here with
@ConveoAI
Yesterday I pitched our startup
@ConveoAI
for 300+ fellow founders
@ycombinator
’s offsite 😬😬
Awesome experience!
Incedible to see the other founders build products their users want 🚀🚀
Pitching

The main problem with block seems to me that blocked people can’t see the “blocker’s” tweets anymore.
It blocks their “right to listen”

I admire your moral compass
But it is undeniable that the US/NATO took actions that increased the odds of war therefore partially causing the war
@sashayanshin
Maybe *their understanding* changed
E.g. having GM & Ford use their infrastructure warrants looking at it more closely and reconsidering (or including) in their model
I fully agree
We should focus on enabling and empowering people instead of protecting (but actually limiting everyone’s opportunity)

What do Europe and France need to change?
- Stop regulating, start the building. We will regulate when we will be serious at the table.
- Be less pessimistic, more optimistic. The world is in its best state ever; all problems are solvable, and cynics and decel are toxic.
-
A big risk for
#Putin
is the return of all these troops to
#Russia
.
They know what happened in
#Ukraine
, and will tell the rest of the russian population.
If any Russian group could stage a revolution, it may well be that group of soldiers who know how to fight.
A short summary:
Leopold Aschenbrenner — formerly of OpenAI's Superalignment team, now founder of an investment firm focused on artificial general intelligence (AGI) — has posted a massive, provocative essay putting a long lens on AI's future.
Why it
@garrytan
You become a bn $ company when you generate the supporting revenue
You only generate revenue if you create significantly more value to society
Having bn $ companies literally means generating an order of magnitude more value to society
People don’t get this basic concept

I admire and fully align with your moral compass. The debate between
@DavidSacks
and you was also admirable in tone and respect.
Please do try to remain on point. You make a statement, David responds critically, and you respond with something completely different. No line

Another very interesting implication;
Strong increase in total software created and therefore gdp.
If today because of the cost only x% of software is built, now because of the ~50% cost decline, that probably expands demand by say 5-10x (exponential demand for cost declines)
