The court has sentenced Jalal Harutyunyan to 5.5 years in prison. He will file an appeal.
The Syunik regional court found the Minister of Defense of Artsakh, Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan guilty under Part 3 of Article 550 of the Criminal Code: negligence towards military service during martial law and war, causing grave consequences. ⬇️
