Budget cuts on Healthcare, electing Ramaphosa to power remains one of the biggest blunders for any revolution , we were sold a dummy by USAID funded propaganda machinery. My conscience is clear I jive never voted for Ramaphosa in my life.
KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane has admitted that her department could not procure medicine in December and January due to budget cuts.

UPDATE: Here is the list (not exhaustive) of some of the medications that has run out of stock in hospitals across KwaZulu-Natal. In total, 217 medications have run out of public hospitals and patients are routinely advised to buy them from private pharmacies. Procedurally, hospitals must have a minimum of 80% stock, yet some of them, like Mosdov in Ngwavuma, are at 57 percent. Leaked departmental reports show that St Benedictine Hospital in Nongoma and General Gizenga Mpanza Hospital in Stanger have completely run out of some widely required medication. This flies in the face of a vehement denial by the Department of Health led by MEC Nomagugu Simelane-Mngadi. The shortage of medication is a result of circular G77/2024 which was issued by the department late last year. The circular essentially centralized procurements of goods and services in the head office in Pietermaritzburg following a cash crunch and austerity measures imposed by the provincial government following years of overspending and daylight looting. Here is the list of some of the medications that are out of stock across the province: Brimonidine, Calcium Carbonate, Morphine, Pethidine, Chloroquine, Ciprofloxacin, IV Fluids, Ampicillin, Atendol, Cefazolin, Rifampicin, Propranolol, Norgestrel, Loperamide and Apezazolimine - The News Box
