@patio11 I work with actual security researchers who have been testing AIs for this use case and they unanimously agree that this is not the case.

@ddoomen The left is just noise. “Better reflect its purpose” is clear from the rename itself. And if we re-explained ideas like code clarity in every commit where they were used, every commit message would be hundreds of words long. Those explanations belong in your style guide.

@CohhCarnage @thegameawards It was miles better than last year, and I appreciate that they accepted and adjusted to some of the criticism. But I agree with this indie dev that the speed at which they blast through many of the awards is insulting to the nominees.
#TheGameAwards pretends they think games are great art. Then they blast through the awards at insulting speed. Forget about acceptance speeches ... They don't even show the games! When you list the nominees, show quick clips from them so people know what you're talking about!

I really love this framing. “Quality” is still subjective (different developers find different aspects of code “easy to change”). But it sets up a shared goal of obvious value to work towards instead of an abstract ideal.
"The ease with which we can change our software defines its quality." - @davefarley77 Easy to change code - allow developers to respond new requirement quickly, fix bug without introducing side-effect, and quickly enhance features. It also facilitates better team collaboration.
