This is so insane, Suffolk county is possibly going to be on the hook for $60 million dollars in damages in a migrant class action lawsuit where the illegal immigrants sued alleging violations of their constitutional rights because the county held them until the federal government could show up and deport them. At the request of the federal government. They are here illegally. How are they afforded any constitutional protections if they are not United States citizens? And they were held pending orders of deportation. So again, how the hell is this possible? Well, I’ll tell you how. The politicians that have been elected to destroy New York have passed a bunch of insane sanctuary laws which are supposed to protect illegal immigrants and punish American citizens. New York cities insane sanctuary laws run in contradiction to the federal law. But despite that Laticia James wrote an entire brief in support of the argument that the Suffolk county sheriff, violated state law by detaining them for ICE. And a ridiculous district judge agreed and ordered $60 million in damages, to illegal aliens for violation of their constitutional rights when the constitution doesn’t apply to them. Now the people of Suffolk County, who work every day and pay taxes are going to have to fund this windfall to a bunch of illegal migrants who had orders of deportation if Suffolk County doesn’t win on appeal.
