While Thera joined the army, Tava joined the navy.
She served in the K.u.K. Kriegsmarine on a torpedo boat until she joined the naval aviation corps in 1916. Finished pilot training in 1917, she flies a Lohner L flying boat.

One of the few times Thera actually shot her massive revolver in anger. The big iron in question is a Gasser M1870, inherited from her father which was a Hussar of the Hungarian Honvéd.

What if Austria resisted the Anschluss?
Two Austrian Alpenjägers posing with a 'prized' POW, an SS-VT officer. Because Austria also used the same shade of feldgrau, the Germans wore red armbands to distinguish themselves. The Austrians followed suit by wearing white armbands.

Here seen some Hungarian tankers of the 6th Armoured Division enjoying a little downtime after successfully capturing Berlin and repelled a German counterattack in February 1944. The division is part of Battlegroup "Hussar".
