All who advocate for civil rights, quality public education, and people need to heed @katieporteroc's advice. 1) Stay focused on real people & mitigate real harm. 2) Stand up to the bullying and BS. 3) Work cooperatively w/out compromising values. 4) Speak truth to power. ✊🏼
I served two years in Congress during the first Trump Admin. Here are a few pieces of advice I’m giving to Democrats. First: Stay focused on the real people being harmed by Trump’s policies. It’s easy for DC politicians to exist in a bubble, but Washington should stay focused on the actual effects of Trump’s policies and Democrats should focus on how we can mitigate the damage.

If you truly care about "girls in sports" then you shouldn't elect a rapist for president.
Virginia Democrats think protecting girls sports is “stupid and incomprehensible.” Tell that to Payton McNabb, who was nearly killed because leftists care more about gender ideology than basic common sense. This is what Virginia Democrats stand for.
