This load of wheat will make ~72,720 1lb loaves of bread. I get~.19/lb. It’s shipped, cleaned, ground into flour, shipped to bakers, shipped from bakers to wholesalers and retailers with carbon tax applied at every stage of the process. Ends up being 2.75/lb. Value added right?

We lost a calf this morning. When That happens you skin the dead calf and put the hide onto the transplant calf. That way the Cow thinks it’s still her calf and accepts it readily. This is one of the twins off the lame cow.

The height of laziness. We call this cow Tank ( because she is one) Has a whopper of an udder but the calf has it under control. Have never seen both cow and calf laying down and calf sucking at the same time 😆

Went to Remembrance Day ceremonies at the high school in Lloydminster this am. Was about 3/4 full. Somewhat disappointing as usually it’s standing room only but seeing this many young Air Cadets attending gives me hope for the future! Awesome 👏👏👏
