The easiest way to get your first junior role is if you’re really good at UI. UX is important, but you’re more useful in a team by producing visuals. Practice, practice, practice. And use a grid ⬇️
Learning UX design is harder than it looks. It can be tricky to know if you have enough knowledge. Learning never ends, but there are 6 key stages to understand to have a great portfolio ⬇️

Are they asking you to adapt or just but understand that different cultures have different terms? Her race doesnt even need to be mentioned if you don’t want to use that term. I promise its very easy to co-exist with coloured people without hyper-fixating on their race
@charliestoolbox
Where did we say you should use it? Keep asking, you’ll get the same answer or no answer. I know race matters, Segregation in 🇿🇦 ended when I was 4. You dont have to listen to her music, save your dollar for someone that aligns more to your values. Its so simple
We’re still celebrating
#InternationalWomensDay
I’ll be doing a group mentoring session with 6 women next week. Just leave a comment 🙋🏾♀️ below, and I’ll be choosing randomly at the end of the day.
@charliestoolbox
Baby please show us where we asked you to encorporate it? We 🇿🇦ns can understand that its weird to you, we just explaining why its a normal term TO US. Again it doesnt need to be talked about if it makes you all uncomfortable, but you lot keep bringing it up

I saw my first UI design screen yesterday, and I couldn't stop laughing, and I realized how far my UX design skills have improved. To improve your UIUX design screen, you need to consistently design mobile apps and web applications. Prioritize quantity over quality.

That article is really de-influencing the trad wife trend. It said she’s often ill for a WEEK due to exhaustion, when shes married to a billionaire. Having urgency over your life is so important, clocking into a 9-5 everyday will always be better than what I read in that article
I remember when feminists were warning about this trad life content & they were called bitter jealous hags but now this ballerina farm profile pretty much confirms everything said feminists were saying… I can’t wait till you lot wake up & catch up because you’re slowing us down
I rarely tweet but it's worth it because if you're an art and design head like me and interested in UI/UX I recommend following
@uxtshili
because of her in depth understanding of the field and experience 🐐💪🏾
I was thrilled to receive an email from
@uxtshili
announcing my selection for a mentorship opportunity. The one-on-one session with her proved to be impactful, as she provided thorough guidance on my portfolio and offered insights into both my strengths and areas for improvement

For years they tried to say they were just jealous cz they’re not getting attention 🤦🏾♀️ the devil works hard, but patriarchy!!
@prince_stally
It shows that you understand the process of solving problems, but a junior won’t usually be given problems to solve on their own. Which means they’re not helping the team work faster, and the role isn’t very useful
Yes but having too many companies makes the impact weaker, which is what the BDS have been saying. People shouldn’t feel guilty about selective boycotting, it’s about the strength in numbers

There’s no shortcuts to being great. Practice and more practice. Before people seek a mentor ask yourself, did I spend hours to understand Colour theory, layout and grid?
Here’s a video to get you started
@lottsnomad
Use the 4 design principles to improve the aesthetic. A few things you could try… Start by using a grid to make sure everything is aligned horizontally, and to keep spacing consistent.
Use cards with a soft shadow, instead of black rectangles
Happy new year 🎊
May you reach all your design goals. Remember:
