Elijah Scott presented to the media today by Lecce sporting director Stefano Trinchera. Trinchera states that Lecce are actively trying to build around young players and were impressed after scouting him at Stuttgart. Scott made the bench against Bologna this past weekend.

One player that I’ve really liked from this group is Ramiz Hamouda. Watching him you can see why he’s highly rated. Good 1v1 defender, good size, understands when to exploit space and push the tempo. Would be shocked if he’s not in Europe when he turns 18. Must-watch in USL.

Weah had a really good game against PSV yesterday. His form has hit a different level this year. Motta has him playing with a level of confidence that we have only seen so far at the USMNT level. Doesn’t matter where he plays on the field. He produces game in and game out 🔥

Best American on the day in the UCL in my mind goes to Auston Trusty. Much improved from his outing against Villa. Decisive in his actions, not at fault on either goal, and made a number of important plays over the course of the game. Probably one of Celtic’s top performers.

Noahkai Banks not the only player at Augsburg to keep an eye on. Bleicher is a very talented German-American midfielder. Full-time member of Augsburg’s reserves at the age of just 17. 2nd youngest player on the roster. Pretty evident that the club rate him highly.
