My grandma told me how embarrassed she was to stand in line for government cheese handouts. Taking what you hadn't worked for was almost sinful to how she was raised.

Archie only had 4 mos before Africa trip and one month after it for any interaction with Harry's family. Not even one Christmas. They never got to know him.

My sister was in hospital 9 days trying to not lose her baby but it happened anyway. She was given the option of a mortuary or the hospital, as the hospital would dispose of the remains.
NEVER was it even an option that she or her husband would take the remains themselves!

Mission 1 was to find 10 dear friends from my 20s I had lost contact with.
In 2 yrs I had found 7 and had 7 beautiful reunions.
The journey was fantastic and worth more than I could have imagined. Sadly I've lost 2 since.
Leaving the job was a gift.
