I understand that FBA has their own ethnic group. That makes 100% sense. I never claimed to be apart of it. But I’m still a Black American hence “1st generation BA”. Facts are facts man.

No shade but I see that mostly from mixed looking foreigners. (ex. Dominicans) My people definitely call themselves Black. Literally the ones living in America and on the island. We may not emphasize as much bc Black is the standard in Jamaica, but here it matters.

It would be nice for a study to be conducted of job/career opportunities including position, pay, and work/life balance… bc people always gaslighting then expect darkskin women to show grace during these conversations… it’s bigger than “jealousy”!
