friendships are supposed to be safe spaces but boundaries need to exist to maintain a healthy friendship.
sucks that friendship has been reduced to “i don’t owe ppl anything” “ur friends aren’t ur therapist” “don’t trauma dump on ur friends” bc of the emergence of therapy-speak in friendships… i feel like people forgot friends r supposed to hold space & be present for each other :(.

one of my fav things in life is when i’m cooking pasta and check to see if it’s ready, i let my dog try a piece too and he just sits there and wags his tail waiting for it.
