FINAL @OmahaMBB takes the solo lead in the Summit League standings by defeating @TommieMBBall 89-78. Marquel Sutton had a spectacular second half performance finishing with 24 points. Stay tuned at for coverage and comments from Coach Crutchfield.

The Tommies scored on three straight possessions to cut the lead to four but Sutton scored in response to give Omaha a six point lead with two minutes to go.

Kamryn Thomas made an impact on both sides of the ball, grabbing a steal on one end and swishing a three-pointer on the other. Thomas’s 12th, 13th, and 14th points have given Omaha a 12 point lead with five minutes to play.

The Tommies have come back with a fury cutting the lead to five and fast. Following some sloppy play by UNO, the Tommies took advantage with three straight buckets.

Marquel Sutton has caught fire. He is up to 16 points with twelve minutes to go in the game. Omaha leads 63-53.

Tony Osburn came out of the half ready to go- draining a three ball to start the half. @OmahaMBB has forced a couple @TommieMBBall turnovers extending their lead to eight, 53-45.

The Mavericks hold onto their lead headed into halftime 42-36. The Tommies struggled to get anything going on offense all half and Omaha played scrappy defense making St. Thomas take some uncomfortable shots.

Omaha is trying to pull away with under four minutes left in the first half. @OmahaMBB is up 36-30. Thomas is up to nine points following a put back layup, free throw is still to come following the media timeout.

With under seven minutes to play @OmahaMBB hold a 3 point lead over @TommieMBBall 30-27. Omaha has had the lead for all but 19 seconds in this half. The Tommies normally formidable offense is shooting a lackluster 2-11 from beyond the arc.

At the first media timeout @OmahaMBB and @TommieMBBall are knotted at 13. Both sides are looking to fire away from deep. Kamryn Thomas has five early points.
