Our lighting model in UnderMine 2 is all new!
It uses a light mask to give characters, props, and backgrounds fill and rim lights. (So we have to draw everything twice 😅)
Playable characters also get a dynamic shadow that reacts to light sources.

It's been a month since we've released an update, and that's because we have had our hands full with a big one.
The Crystalline Update will release Tues Dec 17th, and includes the Shimmering Caverns (UM's 4th zone), a new boss, new enemies, new traps, peasant colors, and more.
