@putofftheoldman The word “until” in Greek (Heos) doesn’t imply a reversal like it does in English. The same word is used in 2 Samuel 6:23: it says, “Michal, the daughter of Saul had no child to,” or heos, “the day of her death.” So Michal, call the daughter of King Saul, it says she had no child.

@kindegartenCop Nope. It has to make perfect sense in English or it doesn’t count! Jesus was American, remember?!.

@LaughLoveLive1 Exorcists also say don’t read Harry Potter. They’re advising people from the safest possible stand point, not the reasonable one. Will some people do yoga and go new age? Yeah. Will some people read Harry Potter and try witchcraft? Yeah. Those people are dumb.

@ChrisMags80 I can’t imagine my husband thinking I’m only a good wife if I have sex with him. I can promise you, as the Bible says, chastity is superior to burning with passion. Mary and Joseph were married, but they were extraordinarily holy people.

This has been debunked so many times. I’ve even tackled it on my IG. In short: the Church is the largest independent provider of charities, education, hospitals, health clinics, orphanages and more—despite NOT being the wealthiest church in the world. The wealth and value in.
@MementoMori_JMJ I was a Catholic for 33 years. Hard catholic. Said the rosary every day. Went to the Vatican tour to see the shroud of Turin. Walked thru and went outside to vomit. Billions in gold chalices. Suits of gold. Could feed starving children for years. I remember saying this can’t be.

@How2BeChristian Mr. White came to play with me!!!.
@uncatechizedcat @putofftheoldman This is the stock Catholic Answers style response. Unfortunately, this is actually a phrase, not a single term, ἕως οὗ, and there is good reason to believe the phrase, rather than just the singular term ἕως (as is found in the LXX of 2Sam 6:23), does, in fact, refer to a point.

@allthewhile Oh my gosh there’s no way 🤣 who is “Assisi”? How do you get Ah-key-nus from Aquinas?!. There’s a reason those monks didn’t let him become a priest 🤣🤣.

We’ve all heard this now, right? Welcome home, Candace! Sisters in Christ now and forever. 💜.
Recently, I made the decision to go home. There is of course so much more that went into this decision and that I plan to share in the future. But for now, praise be to God for His gentle, but relentless guiding of my heart toward Truth. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do

There better be a fierce #TitleIX lawsuit coming up FAST. I’m raising 4 daughters, and I’ll raise hell if some boy bodies them in sports or encroaches in their female-only bath/locker rooms.

@TheMistressB I’ll echo what I said to your other tweet: the most conservative approach doesn’t mean the only approach. Read Jimmy Akin.

@CathPatria1 If I’m not inviting demons, I’m not inviting demons. Period. Demons need a “yes.” They don’t get to sneak in the back door when I say “no.”.

@Tim23788411 I suggest you check out @How2BeChristian’s video in this. It’s called What Does “Eat My Flesh” Mean? and it’s an extremely thorough breakdown on John 6. It’s only part 1, so it might not satisfy everything you’re wondering just yet, but it’s a great starting point.

It is, though. 2 Cor 2:10 “… wherever I have shewn indulgence, have done so in the person of Christ for your sakes”.
@uncatechizedcat Sorry. No I confess to God only. In persona christi is not in the Bible.

@whatever Yes. It went from token diversity, to white exclusivity—unless that whiteness comes with blue hair or homosexuality.

@JonnyRoot_ No one is calling her our poster child. We celebrate famous converts, yes, because we calebrate ALL converts. The more people who know you when you convert, the more celebration you get. I’m confident when I say most if not all Catholics would be happy to hear her joy of.

This is what I don’t get about doubting Nala’s—or @TheMistressB’s—or ANYONE else’s conversion: there are 4 possibilities:. 1. It’s a fake, you doubted, you were right. 2. It’s a fake, you believed, you were wrong. 3. It’s real, you doubted, you were wrong. 4. It’s real, you.
Subscribe to what, exactly, my dude? . Nala has ONE video up on her OF (see pics). One single video that you have to pay $10 to watch and it most likely isn’t adult material. Here is a currently participatory OF model with HUNDREDS of photos and videos up. All of you idiots

@MomKrill What you and at least one other person said is the hinge point for me: What’s the point in saving wealth to pass when you die (presumably of old age, God willing) and enriching your kids once they’re established/close to retirement? They probably don’t really need it at that.

@RenOfMen Did you even read the post?. I’m clearly not advocating for religious yoga. I’m advocating for not working out in a superstitious way. Have you ever bent at the middle and tried to touch your hands to the floor? It really stretches your hammies and a bit of your back. If you’ve.

@HippieReligious I started oil pulling and have had a HUGE turnaround in my oral health. I initially did 1/3 hydrogen peroxide and 2/3 water in my waterpik bc pregnancy gingivitis, but after a few weeks I switched to oil pulling and plain water in the flosser… my mouth has never been better.

Well, @TeamYouTube came through. We already knew I didn’t violate, but I’m glad it’s recorded that I didn’t. Am I happy? No. Am I relieved? Yes. YT still has the largest reach of comparable platforms, and my goal is to evangelize… so I need to reach. I think my lesson is to

I unfollowed @Pinesap3wasc because he was saying (in so many words) interracial marriage should be looked down upon. He was trying to argue that it was “for the preservation of the white race.”. Anyone who actually looks at racial purity and calls themselves catholic is 🤢.
Has anyone else ran into this account? . He’s a supposed Catholic who is proud of his followers for calling me a sl*t and to stfu and all sorts of other nasty things Catholics are usually ashamed of. I’m kinda confused honestly.

🧵 So I flew @FlyFrontier to Vegas because it’s cheap and I didn’t need anything more than a personal bag. The flight out they had a plane issue so my plane was delayed 3 hours. They kept texting updates. Whatever, it happens. I’d rather have a functioning plane.

@farmingandJesus @MollyMahoney2 That scripture doesn’t mean “Just get baptized and read the Bible and I’ll open your mind to the truth.” If it did, there would be ONE church. Everyone would read the Bible and exegete exactly the same thing. We can clearly see that “promise” isn’t working out… because that’s.

@mikek55905054 This is just patently false, and reading the early church fathers and the complete Bible will prove that. - Formula of Hormisdas answers papacy.- Against Heresies speaks a lot about Mary.- The final purification goes back to Jewish beliefs (Mourners Kaddish).- Tertullian and.

I want that shirt.
See what Doug, an Atheist, thinks about the debate over John 6 (Jesus’s teaching to “eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood”). Thank you for the feedback @P1neCreek!.

@rothschild78989 Read early church history. That’s the stuff that existed before the Catholics compiled the Bible.

@sacredheartjam There’s no part of trying to communicate with the dead that’s safe. It’s inherently unsafe to reach the dead even if you don’t encounter the demonic. Stretching isn’t bad because religious yoga exists. You *can* simply stretch.

It’s my favorite when people make claims and then, when challenged respond with this or “I really don’t want to debate 💙” or something like that. If you’re going to put something out there, be ready to discuss it. If you’re not willing to defend your claim, don’t make one.
@uncatechizedcat Ok God bless.
