Today we honor longtime community partner, Melvin Jackson, MSPH. With 35+ years in public health, he’s led transformative initiatives in SE Raleigh, and is Principal Partner at the PRIME Collective LLC. Jackson co-leads the Community Engagement & Partnerships Core at HPDP.

After Hurricane Helene devastated Western NC, HPDP colleagues stepped up to support affected students of W.D. Elementary School in Swannanoa. They created craft kits for 50 kids with special needs, bringing joy & creativity during tough times.
