@_saksham_here_ And then Fabi would be left with Nodirbek vs Hikaru where he would go for Nodirbek

@_saksham_here_ Thanks for the insights... Actually I was counting on the final top 8 classical one Didn't know that they added top 10 to top 8 as rapid... Last time rapid was only for initial seeding.

@ChessbaseIndia @ChessBase What is its accuracy if it is relying on pattern recognition?

@_saksham_here_ Similarly we will have Fabi in the list even though he qualified for candidates last year through circuit. Same way we might have winners of world cup and grand swiss if they coincide. I don't think there is any confusion in this.

@FIDE_chess and @tatasteelchess should try to have Armageddon as the tie breaker after blitz matches rather than sudden death with players bidding for time. Something @NorwayChess and @chesscom have used so well. Feel the best way to play the tie breaker giving players comtrol

@GeorgeMallory19 @Ankiii_i Yup, even I enjoy puzzles. But I have to admit, opening helps to plan the games better. Though these days I never look to gain advantage from them, just get a structure that I understand better and trust myself to be the better player.

@ChessbaseIndia @leonkingof64 @tatasteelchess One has to remember how luck plays a crucial role. In round 1, he was completely winning against Keymar. Similarly, Arjun was also completely winning against Fedoseev. While Gukesh was lost against Giri in round 1. But all the games turned around. Hope this win takes him far.
