@marginletter @phl43 I can see AI being able to replace many people in desk jobs but so far progress in robotics seems very limited. Paradoxically perhaps, everything that involves physical labor seems completely out of of reach for AI now.

@thomasahle @_maestro_04 @ChrSzegedy I am sure of that, and many more jobs will be lost but "art" in its purest form is a human activity that some people *feel compelled* to participate in either as creators or spectators *because* it is made by humans for humans. As such it will exist as long as humans exist.

@nim_chimpsky_ I have seen a sample and these are really hard computations that require a bunch of theoretical knowledge sure, but they are not “research” level in the sense that they could be interesting for a phd project, at least to my taste or to the taste of the professors I know.
