@Akpotin1 This is nothing new in Urhobo. Many Kingdom have initiatives like this. I don't know why you see it as an opportunity to throw insults on our traditional stools.

@Akpotin1 For almost 70yrs, the UPU has been running scholarships for Urhobo students. I know people who benefited while I was in UNIBEN. I don't know if the program is still running.

With an estimated 40 million households involved in agriculture, the number of farmers in this country is too much and their productivity level too little.
Soon, the public will realise that the idea that EVERYONE should embrace farming for food security is a wrong one. For now, it sounds logical until people realise you don't need more farmers. You only need a conducive farming environment for few farmers to produce food for all.

Fun fact: Children born from Jan 1st, 2025 belong to a new generation called Gen Beta which will run till 2039. Gen Alpha ended in 2024. Gen Zs now have two generations ahead of them- another indicator that they are now getting old.
