my brother taught me a couple of years ago to say the Shahada everytime I was in pain. why? because he said if you’re ever near the time of death and it’s painful for you, it will roll of your tongue and most likely be your last words. thought i’d share, it’s a good habit.
“I found my wife weeping alone after prayer and when I went to comfort her and ask her what was wrong, she did not answer but grasped my head to her heart tightly and blew the last verses of the ayaat she had just finished over my face.
it’s not about fearing death- every soul shall taste it. it’s about dying in a state in which Allah سبحانه وتعالى is most pleased with you. may Allah grant us all a good end, and to guide us whilst we are here in the dunya أمين
When Allah ﷻ sends your khayr, I swear, like a semblance of Jannah it'll erase every hurt that came before it and make all those years and trials into a distant memory. Alhamdulillah.

ladies, please- I know it’s hard but please just stay anon. you don’t know what people will be doing with your photos. you are tooooo precious and beautiful اللهم بارك for just anyone to see. protect yourself and save the beauty for those who are halal to you x
i’m ashamed of myself to know that some people think so highly of me. may Allah سبحانه وتعالى make me better than what you see of me, for the only reason I am seen like this in your eyes is because my sins are cloaked by His Mercy :/
treating people well in this dunya is so important. your grave is deep and you will be there for a long time (Allah knows best), but you will be in need of duas rather than slander. treat. people. kindly.
I feel like a lot of Muslims underestimate the power of duā. If you want something, make duā. If you’re unsure about something, make duā. If you need help in something, make duā.
I am so tired of people 😂 a girl I used to go school with, her mum just stopped me on the road and said my acne scars look horrible after doing salam with me. I just laughed but gosh I could’ve said so much, so glad I bit my tongue 😂😂 gosh
may we all be given spouses who are the coolness of our eyes, who help us sleep easy when our troubles keep us awake, and who remind us always to turn back to Allah سبحانه وتعالى in all our affairs, good or bad. اللهم آمين
the company you keep has a very big effect on your akhirah. today a brother passed away, and on the timeline all you can see are his friends praising how much of a good person he was- as well as multiple sadaqah jariyah pages set up for him- سبحان الله
“How strange is man? While making duā he thinks Allah is near and close-by, yet when committing sins, he thinks Allah is distant and afar.”
my heart oh my
a couple of years before my grandads death, he was diagnosed with severe dementia, this initially lead to him not being able to remember his sons and daughters names, nor his whereabouts, but سبحان الله there is one thing he would not forget [...]
my brother got married this past weekend and I can’t tell you how emotional it’s been. I have the one brother, who has cared for me and my sisters all of our lives and for him to finally start his life and have the one person who makes him the happiest brings joy to my heart 🥺🫶🏼
Umar bin al Khattab said:
“Do not let the prayer of a man deceive you nor his fasting. Rather look at the truthfulness of his speech, his trustworthiness whenever he is entrusted, and how he acts when he is given wealth and/or power.”

these sexual assault stories are wallahi so terrifying and disgusting, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى deal with the abusers in the next life if justice is not served here, and may He protect all women and men that have been through such experiences. سبحان الله my heart aches.
I love nice people, just genuine kind souls that you can tell have been through much but smile as though everything they wish for has been given to them, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless these people آمين يارب
“When a Muslim or a believer makes his ablutions and washes his face, the water carries away all his sins committed by his eyes, and when he washes his hands the water removes sins committed by his hands, [...]
i pray that my heart never becomes attached to what isn’t meant for me. and that anything that is meant for me and brings goodness into my life- lasts.
and 2020 will be the year we prosper, where our deen will increase, where we will have better understanding of the world, and where happiness will reside in our hearts. that is my wish. I pray we all get a chance to see ان شاء الله.
يارب, do not let my weak heart become attached to what is not mine, grant us what is good for us in Your time, for Your plan is the best of plans
اللهم آمين

2 weeks ago a young man in Bradford drowned on Eid day. his mama was in a coma due to coronavirus, and was not aware of her sons death. today she too passed away. may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy upon them both and grant them Jannah
i’m so tired of people undermining me because of my age. i may be young but i have seen trials that have matured my heart and mind. understand that age does not define your ability to push through situations, rather it’s your capability to preserve patience and to have strength.
even if it’s just a small “how are you doing?” towards someone you haven’t messaged in a really long time, just do it. because life is short, and pride kills many things. “he/she didn’t message me first why should I do it?”- so? who cares? at least you’ll know you did your part
may Allah سبحانه وتعالى keep your heart soft always, and never let the ones who might abuse it- wether that’s intentionally or unintentionally- come close to you. اللهم آمين.
going on this trip with family is one of the best things you can do. you’re at Allah’s سبحانه وتعالى house with the ones you love, it’s another experience seeing your parents so happy 🥰
At the time of the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ anyone who had converted to Islam at the time was given a teacher to teach them how to pray, fast, make correct wudhu etc- the necessities. (1/4)
