Something I've learned from working very closely with @justinskycak and @exojason (which I also see in @ninja_maths's content team) is that the best teams are built on a foundation of extremely high trust and reliability. When you're on a team of high-caliber, high-performing people you trust, you don't worry about whether a task assigned to someone will get done. It's not even a question that pops into your head—you know it will. It's that simple. Reliability matters. When there’s reliability, you’re not helicoptering over someone. You’re not constantly checking in. It frees up the necessary bandwidth to focus fully on what you personally need to get done. That’s why teams with high trust move faster than those that don’t. If you say you’ll have something done by tomorrow at 5 p.m., it’s done. If you say, "I’ll message you tonight with an update on my progress," there’s no doubt that message will be sent. This is what it means to keep your word. If you don’t have your word, you don’t have anything. You definitely don’t have trust or reliability. These are the types of environments where one-of-a-kind outcomes happen. They’re teams that are all-in, have each other’s backs, and believe in one another to an astounding degree.
