Between She-Ra, Last of Us 2 and now Encanto, it’s amazing how straight white guys can hand wave other worldly planets, mushroom zombies & literal magic, but spend hours upon hours explaining how women being buff & muscular is what’s unrealistic & impossible.
My family was late to Encanto & was told good things about it. Can't get past Louisa just being a dude in a dress, though.

What’s best is that WandaVision barely did any trolling. They didn’t “lie to everyone” over the actual reveal, we all did that to ourselves setting our expectations way too high & believing self proclaim insiders/leakers ‘scoops’.
The way that I couldn’t sleep for a week after this scene in WandaVision. It ended up being a fake out but the fact that they even went THIS far was much appreciated.
