I cried, screamed, threw up on #TheTraitors. Host of "It’s Just A Game". Called a "shrieking millenial" by The Times. Tweets are my views, not anyone else’s.

RT @IvanBrett: It's finally here! Our post-season awards ceremony and a full #TheTraitors retrospective, up in your ear holes on a drab Tue…

@ReconditeRed @IvanBrett (thank you!) yes I am afraid this was a bit too much of a car crash for my taste 💀

@samsnowden1997 I think this is different and I’m not sure I can articulate why - but I think it’s because Frankie appealing to Leanne’s motherly senses was trying to create a deep emotional bond using something they have in common rather than just throw around desperate word strings

@noolivesthnx almost certainly, but I think they could have done that with any song and that pick was specifically to also put us on edge - it’s kind of a ‘preparing for war’ song!

@felixw1 it was for us! claudia would then always walk in as the song reached its orchestral climax at the end. it was scary the first few roundtables and then we got used to it and would start singing it while it played!

@KateyBobs27 didn’t realise there was a BBC version - can confirm it was the original in full.

Thinking about this moment - ironically, I think the only way Francesca could have won that money was by teaming up with Alexander to vote out Jake and Leanne. By going for Alexander, she caused her own demise!

@SabrinaSpectre this is kinda excessive, it’s just a game - she had doubts, she acted on it. would you take a 50/50 risk for £90k?

@patfc91 But if you’re in there, and £90k is on the line, you might think "what if he helped me with the coins to double bluff me and he is a traitor." I think that logic is incredibly unlikely but you couldn’t afford to risk it, especially faced with Alexander who is very smart

@TwoFloDears It was inevitable - she had background suspicion on Alexander and at that final firepit, you cannot risk it. Still deeply sad!

@jeffiner1892 i said I liked Leanne, doesn’t change that I wanted Alexander and Francesca to win (though it was never going to happen sadly)

@samsnowden1997 I think there’s potentially a strategic element to that though - we’ve seen many times before that coming out strong and not letting someone you’re accusing finish a sentence is incredibly effective at making sure they get banished and not you (as Tom did with Ivan in S1)

@MatthewRimmer I’m onto it but to be entirely honest, it doesn’t hit as well as the UK one for me - I find the characters we get aren’t as genuine as they’re TV veterans who know what they’re doing (and some go for entertainment over gameplay too much…)

@richardiaburns I think this is great for the intensity - it kept the final really tense for longer, but it does add an incentive to keep voting red so I think it should be balanced by a counter-incentive (maybe lost money if faithfuls vote out faithfuls at the fire pit?)
