The two part drama The Pale Horse began on BBC One today in 2020 with the concluding part on the 16 February. Written by Sarah Phelps and loosely based on Agatha Christie's novel of the same name. The cast includes Rufus Sewell, Kaya Scodelario, James Fleet and Claire Skinner.

Remembering these 3 TV faces who passed away on this day in years gone by. Heron Carvic was an author and Doctor Who actor. He died in 1980, age 67. Renée Houston was in Maigret. She died in 1980, age 77. Kate Peyton was a BBC reporter who died in Somalia in 2005, age 39.

Today in 2005, the Government launched Teachers TV. A TV channel and website which provided video and support materials for teachers, school leaders, governors, teacher trainers, student teachers and support staff. The TV channel closed in 2010, the website in 2011.

Remembering 2 TV personalities who passed away on this day in years gone by. Rachel Thomas passed away in 1995 just 2 days before her 90th birthday. Bella Davies in Pobol y Cwm. Leslie Welch passed away in 1980 at the age of 72. The "Memory Man" on TV and radio.

@Johnsut06358334 Neil had acromegaly, a disorder that results in excess growth of certain parts of the human body. It is caused by excess growth hormone after the growth plates have closed. He sadly passed away due to MND/ALS.
