Phone the football coach and send a picture to them.
They will deal with it and probably allow you to come a discuss what happened. I know, when I coached football, my team would be there to help on a project to make up for it. He might even be kicked off team.

I like single players. As a golf course superintendent I enjoy the pace they play at. What I hate is the single that hits four shots every time they play. Just hit and go. We will work around you if you keep going. Play fast

Two of the fires in my area started by cutting the grass. Blade hit a rock. Spark it. So I will wait to cut my lawn for a bit. Sending thanks to all the fire fighters out there. Stay safe

So, we don’t have a fairway aerator. We have fairways that need holes. It was a long walk. Number 1 done and half of 3 done in about 4.5 hours. Not bad for an old guy

Spraying done. Compost smeared nicely. Top dress of tee and brushed in. Last top dress of greens, rain ended the day. Finish tomorrow and onto curling ice. Supposed to have snow next week, so nice to get this all done.

When we did history in grade eight, Canada stuff, we discussed what we did. As we sat there with natives it was uncomfortable. To double down, our teacher would bring in an elder to discuss what they saw. Everyone was changed. Granted it was 1981 and we were allowed to learn that

Finished up the top dressing of greens today. Very windy and cold. Glad sprays got done earlier this week. One more little then to do and it is onto curling ice.

In our local school kids can start on trades in grade 11. They used to get credit for summer work, but UCP did away with that. As a boss I would be interviewed by a teacher on how the kid or kids did. It was a neat program. UCP killed it.

As I top dressed today, I came up with a song. Tune to hot blooded by Fournier(sp). I’m top dressing, check and see. I have spinners at 103, come on baby you can do more than sand, cause I’m top dressing, top dressing. Honey bun even liked it.

Great, fire season has started. Old golf course is being evacuated. Fire jumped the river. So about 30 miles away. Off to bed. Actually turned ringer up. Hope it doesn’t ring.

Got the new weed eater kid on the greens yesterday. Only 4 to 6 cuts left so what the heck. He did great and now trained for next season. He can’t wait. Not bad for a grade 8 kid

I guess the Sturgeon lake school enjoyed curling. Went from 12 to 32 kids. It was a fun time had by all. Kids learning and laughing.

No. I live very rural and I believe it is a choice. But I do kind of laugh when they are mad they can’t do things. You had a choice, so live with it. If they lived in an urban area, I believe their choice might be different. The lack of empathy for others bugs me

We use water to get rid of frost and ice way up here. The water is warmer and melts it. Too much can cause issues. But one circle of a sprinkler does wonders. But what do I know, I only look after a golf course in northern Alberta and went to school for four years.

Flood five. Honey bun helped on the hose. Always easier. This afternoon I have the kid coming to help. Noticed an issue so I will teach her how to fix it. Probably make her do the flood and be the hose drag person. She’s 15, so she is ready.

Hey all,
I had five interviews with youngsters today. 15-17.
It was incredible. I have the weekend to decide on who gets two spots. When I hear bad things about kids, it isn’t here.
The kids are alright. I would hire everyone for different reasons.
