I want to know what the ideology behind the creation of Pakistan was.
Pakistan was created for the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent- this much is clear from the way they encouraged (and depended upon) the migration of upper class Indian Muslims like Gujarati businessmen and North Indian professional classes to build the nation.
