Lee is no Fionna but Lee is no joke. Lee will become post tropical as it makes landfall in the Maritimes SAT. Heavy rain, gusty winds & higher than normal waves. Lee will enter the Gulf of St. Lawrence SUN. That give some areas 14-18 hours worth of heavy rain and high winds.

10-20+ cm of snow in NS today 30-40 cm of snow in southern NFLD. Those are the highlights (lowlights?) of the storm. Winds will be gusty and both falling and blowing snow will reduce visabilites. #nsstorm #nbstorm #peistorm

Cool temperatures inland, warmer along the coast this AM. Highs today will range 14-19 degrees with southerly winds. Trick or Treat looks dry, but there will be fog/drizzle & a chance for showers this evening. @infomorning @infoamfred @CBCPEI @InfoMorningCB @InfoAMSJ @CBCMoncton

The cold air is in place. A low will bring heavy snow in NS as well as southern NB and PEI. @ECCCWeatherNS has issued snowfall warnings. High NE winds will reduce visibilities when the snow becomes heavy. @infomorning @InfoAMSJ @infoamfred @InfoAMSJ @cbcpei @CBCMoncton

Friday’s Light Pillar. ⁦⁦ @infomorning ⁩ We were chatting about this natural phenomenon. Ice crystals are reflecting the rising sun’s rays. The angle has to be perfect. once the sun rises, the angle changes and the pillar is gone.
