Moses West is an Army veteran and an engineer who invented the Atmospheric Water Generator, a machine that turns air into clean drinking water. The Atmospheric Water Generator has been used in Flint, Michigan which received over 3,000 gallons.

In 1967, a group of Black men in Pittsburgh became America’s FIRST paramedics. The Freedom House paramedics were quick studies and within eight months, they were able to handle emergencies such heart attacks, seizures, childbirth and choking.

Elizabeth Key Grinstead was the first enslaved Black woman to sue Virginia (part of the American colonies) for her freedom in 1656. She was granted her freedom on July 21, 1656. Actor Johnny Depp is one of her descendants, he is her eighth great grandson.

Paul R. Williams was a renowned architect in L.A. He designed parts of the Beverly Hills hotel.The Beverly Hills hotel sign is actually his handwriting! Williams designed over 2,000 houses in the LA area. His client list included Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Cary Grant.
