IHSSA awarded us with the Face of Sportsmanship award yesterday. They heard about how our girls jumped in and started singing the national anthem with the young lady who forgot the words at North Montgomery. Some things are bigger than sports and wins. Proud to be a Bruin

As a coach I am always proud of you, but tonight I am beyond proud of you all. We took it beyond the court tonight. A young lady was singing the national anthem and started to struggle and forget words and on cue we sang with her and helped her finish. Amazing class. Proud coach.

I know rankings in the beginning of the season don’t really matter but we are 8-1 and ranked 10th in the state. So I’m going to give them a big shout out, because their hard work and dedication is paying off big Time. Congrats girls, let’s keep working hard. We are not done yet.
