@SoVeryBritish Sausage rolls (and drinks, snacks generally) in cafes at stately homes - fair enough that we pay to see (and so help maintain) the houses and their treasures but c £5 for a small snack after is seriously milking it !

@ForestWatch_ @Footy_Headlines Dull - I feel maybe time to bring back the Garibaldi stripe core but guess Adidas wouldn’t try to combine our keynote stripe with theirs ? ( both together would look shite 🫣)

@ronmanagernottm First came to Nottingham in 74 as a naive young student from East Anglia - this, and the Watson Fothergill buildings blew my mind then and I still retain enormous respect for them now almost half a century later (and am still living quite near too)

@IntrovertProbss Oh yes, but don’t we all? I have however found my recent retirement has reduced the risk of such occurrences hugely !

@cop_ish A retro-classic Tesco at that…few stores for at least three decades now could afford the luxury of such lush terrazzo

@BBCBreaking So does this also account for why we received a (likley to be, judging by size/type etc ) Christmas card for our neighbours today..though absolutely correctly named and addressed in first place?

@AkamKevin A few years ago when a female exec thought it a nice idea to go out to dinner with F peers - sadly she chose a venue also hosting a singles night …I leave the rest to your imagination ( but you are probs nor far wrong 🙄)

@alentejo_1970 It was a particular source of amusement some years ago when (in our weird Anglo/Portuguese sometimes very wrong translations world) the UK allegedly had a shrimp as prime minister 🤭

Morocco won well, and deserved. What we are left to cope with now is not the defeat but the realisation that the future Portugal will be very different - entao, muito obrigado por tudo aos meus craques x
