I LOVED my girls - however, I fed a pretty expensive whole seed organic feed and it was (when I calculated it) more expensive than store bought eggs at the time (prior to 2019). I LOVED having my hens - they can be good pets too - which makes it hard if they get sick. I spent on 2 different hens over $1000 at an avian vet when one got a bacterial infection and needed treatment and the other an impacted crop because she thought it was a good idea to eat straw. Both died anyway. Then despite using diatomaceous earth we had one chicken get so bad with lice in the middle of winter I thought she was just "puffed up" trying to keep warm (I stupidly didn't know to check their skin periodically. I treated with lice treatment per farm store - she died the next day (she was 9 yrs old - Miss Piglet). Then we had one have an issue with an impacted egg, didn't catch until a day or two when I saw that she was walking funny. Caught her up - she had maggots at her vent and we euthanized her. Would I do it again - YES if I had the land and a good set up. I would check them more often for lice to start with.

No he doesn’t. It’s for people with severe disabilities. A device like that could bypass broken/severed nerves. It may give some with brain damage some modicum of quality of life. My sisters’s brain damage has left her physically and mentally disabled with an altered gait (now wheelchair) and no short term memory. Her life was ruined. I bet she would have loved a chance to have a memory bypass or a relay to her leg fixed. She just wished she would have died in the car accident in 1972 at 15 years old, her future stolen.
