'The Last Wish' is without a doubt one of the finest gaming experiences ever crafted. Bungie has elevated an already-phenomenal expansion by eclipsing all their previous efforts with the scale and challenge of this raid.
A triumphant masterpiece. 🙌
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni [especially] have firmly cemented themselves not just as gifted storytellers, but more importantly; two creatives who understand and appreciate the essence of what makes Star Wars special.
Put them in charge of the entire franchise. They've earned it.
Destiny 2 has come incredibly far in a fairly short amount of time. Aside from some neglect on the PvP side, the game is virtually a 180 from the mess it was in the first year. Bungie listened to critical feedback & the game has seen a major resurgence. It's an awesome thing. 🙌
Bring back original the D1 Blink speed (remove weapon draw delay)
- Give it to Hunters again
Give Titans Twilight Garrison
- Bring back D1 skate mechanics but tie its effectiveness to the mobility stat
Destiny's skill-gap is movement and more diversity would benefit the game.
With the Whisper of the Worm Bungie has set a precedent of reintroducing a beloved D1 exotic weapon that is *even more powerful* than it was originally. I applaud them for that.
Now, for the first time, I believe in miracles. 🙏
Some ideas for Bungie to raise easy money for their

Excited for this opportunity, and even though I'm partial to the color red I'm proud to represent the boys in blue. Future resident on Dallas as well! 🤠
Hunters have been overpowered for literally 5 years and now Warlocks finally have something good going for them but of course you so-called “PvP elites” refuse to adapt and instead you’re just going to complain and get it nerfed!!
👏I’m👏SO👏sick👏of👏this👏community
Approaching 100 hours in Forsaken and it's literally overwhelming how much there is to do. The depth of the loot system and the breadth of activities combines to create an experience that feels more complete and fulfilling than anything the series has seen before. 🙌
At this point the likelihood of Telesto being merely a glitchy weapon is completely overshadowed by the very real possibility that it's a longform narrative experiment by Bungie to introduce a new, all-power sentient entity.
shoutout 2 evryone 4 tuning in to my first justinTV live WReckoining (lol) tutorial on PS2. i think ull agree it was pretty cool xD. soon i will buy happuage hd pvr + mic 4 more awesomer content (epic)
plz thumbs up nd subscribed :D
I get the concept of Sunsetting gear, I'll even go as far as to say it's necessary overall.
However, it feels awful to re-release current weapons that have longer life than your favorite roll. I'm all for awesome new gear but don't create a completely artificial grind.
Everyone is all hyped for Trials returning and that's cool I guess, but you know what would be way better? Three words:
Sparrow. Kart. League.
Who's with me?
#CurseOfOsiris
comes out tomorrow and for the first time in 3 years I am completely uninterested in a Destiny expansion... and it’s a shitty feeling.
Hopefully there are some surprises in store and a really good sandbox update but expectations are low.
This week we fixed an issue where Protheon, Modular Mind, the boss of the Inverted Spire strike, grew three times his normal size.
You asked for video evidence so here's your "bigboi" in action.
Nothing like loading into Iron Banner with a quest that forces you to use anti-meta weapons in strict SBMM matches with a cool bug where other players randomly have their Artifact power enabled!!! The only thing more enjoyable would be non-stop beaver error codes ahaha--oh my go
Original Blink: one of the most incredible movement abilities ever to be seen in a multiplayer FPS. It allowed a unique way for players to be aggressive or defensive--for shotgunners & snipers alike. A skill-gap of timing and prediction, I miss the thrill.
#MakeBlinkGreatAgain
It's quite amazing to see how The Division and Rainbow 6: Siege, two games that appeared to be doomed after launch, have both had a major resurgence after the developers listened to faithful players, and rewarded their communities who value complex gameplay. 🙌💯
Mindbenders is actually living up to its name; it’s causing many people to do mental gymnastics in order to claim it’s broken like high impact fusions:
After 7+ years my Dad has [finally!] expressed the desire to play Destiny despite not being a gamer.
Can someone share a comprehensive video series to get him into the story? He loves science fiction so I think he will greatly enjoy the deep lore and overall narrative.
27 hours into Forsaken and I'm really impressed. Tons of things to do, genuinely great new locations and content, renewed progression and investment. Destiny 2 has reinvented itself into the game the players want and deserve. My hobby is back and I couldn't be happier.
>Playing Quick Play
>See Titan abusing OEM, Mountain Top, & Recluse
>I ask them why they play like that
>Player instantly gets triggered & tells me to "get a life?"
>Chat jokes about an incoming reddit post
>Player actually creates reddit post accusing me of toxicity
LOLOLOLOLOL
Sleeper, huh? Some of us casuals didn’t take 2 hours out of our day in the past 3 months to get a broken weapon for Gambit. U think ur good because you can one shot me out of my super. How about u try a balanced weapon and see how well u do. Pathetic!
Legitimately enjoying Destiny 2 now despite any reservations. The many small improvements have added up and the best ones are yet to come. Especially happy that that a bunch of friends have returned so that feeling of social camaraderie is back.
The future is looking bright. 😌
Only 121K played D2 trials last week (3 platforms); beating last week's record low for the franchise.
D1 retained 500K+ 5 months after Trials launched.
The lowest D1 had was 8/4/2017 w/145K (2 platforms). That was 11 months after the last expansion & 1 month before D2's launch.
If Destiny 2 had ranked or even prestige-like experience leveling I would no life the hell out of PvP. As it stands there's really no reason to play and it's really disheartening because I do enjoy Crucible despite various issues. I WANT to love D2, I wish Bungie let me.
Nerfing sliding is simply not enough, I’m sick of so-called “skilled” players abusing other movement mechanics like strafing and jumping as well. These “tactics” are often used to ‘gain an upper hand’ to the detriment of players who are unwilling or unable to learn them.
With Destiny 2 going free to play, I think a cool way to add more paid customization would be a vanity inspection slot. Basically; cool ways to show off your skin/ornament. Lots of possibilities for different fancy animations which I would definitely be willing to buy. Example:
The seal/title system was a great addition to Destiny 2, however it's been 15 months (6 seasons of content) with only 1 of the 13 being for Crucible. I think there's plenty of room to add more. For example:
Iron Banner
Class mastery
Weapons mastery
Anything would be nice.
After a few hundred hours of playtime I can confidently say that Bungie saved Destiny 2 with Forsaken. It hasn't just brought back the best parts of D1, it's pushed the franchise forward. It's an impressive 180 from the first year and it happened because of the following:
'Luna's Howl' appears to be the next Competitive reward. It's a 180rpm Hand Cannon with a unique perk called Magnificent Howl: after two quick hits (notice the lights on the back of the gun) the 3rd shot does bonus damage. See it kill in just 3 shots (0.50s).
Baby TLW is born!

thoughts:
- Dreaming City = WOW
- Ace of Spades is awesome
- Warden of Nothing strike is wonderful fan-service
- Audio/SFX continues to impress
- Bows are badass
- Legendaries are meaningful and exotics are special again
- Give me TLW now
My only concern for Trials is a major one: the artifact has already proven to be a problem with Iron Banner + balancing concerns with the seasonal mods. It needs to be disabled in PvP, at the very least in Trials. It'll create a lot of problems if there's no ceiling for LL.
"We want players to be rewarded for playing the game." No gameplay-affecting microtransactions. Premium pass is gone, and there are no expansions. Maps, modes, and more will be free.
#BattlefieldV
The nerf of damage versus supers has allowed them to become essentially free kills and removed most of the element of risk. A perfect sniper headshot or point blank shotgun + melee should be a kill--thus adding depth to gameplay by increasing room for outplay potential.
Apparently, stacked teams are farming Trials tokens with the Wealth Passage by resetting their cards after a few wins--thus circumventing the intended difficulty scaling & matchmaking integrity.
The problem is obvious: there is not enough reward incentive to keep going Flawless.
The reward for my 12th final-boss kill in Escalation Protocol this morning after 8 hours of grinding, under leveled, with 8 other Guardians. Easily one of the most fun PvE experiences to date. Bungie NEEDS to explore the potential of large-scale cooperative activities more.
CONFIRMED NEW FARM: Daily Heroic 500 mission: guaranteed legendary weapons and armor (set rolls) from boss. Endless masterwork cores and armor mods. Incredibly fast too.
Gambit impressions:
- Sleeper WRECKS
- Riskrunner strong
- Tether invaluable
- Dawnblade and Goldy best for invasion
- Large blockers feel weak
- Primeval slayer buff might need to be slightly adjusted for losing team
- Close games are exhilarating
Many of these recent revelations are truly devastating, I feel terrible for all the people who've been negatively affected. Fame is a privilege, not a weapon to exploit others with. 1/4
If there's one thing I learned today it's that tons of people who have quit Destiny desperately WANT to come home. The game may not be thriving today, but it still can.
This update is an overall step in the right direction but it isn't "the big one" fans are waiting for.
Crucible is in a pretty rough spot, and a sandbox update alone isn't going to reinvigorate lasting interest. Most people can only play so much Quick Play. They want PURPOSE.
Competitive needs massive improvements and the absence of Trials has severely hurt the state of PvP.
I want to commend Bungie for reintroducing hidden quest elements again. They are easily some of the coolest things they've done with Destiny and they continue to be memorable high points--especially when the unique rewards are spectacularly good. Thank you. 🙏
Shame on Bungie. You practically have to be a god at crucible to get it. 25 fucking medals? Are you kidding me? Even worse, people such as yourself literally using an OP weapon now to prevent players like me from getting the medals needed to acquire it. Go fuck yourself streamer.
And on this eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord, two thousand and nineteen, Twitter finally proclaimed that I am, in fact, me.
A glorious day indeed. ☑🙏
17 hours and 40 minutes of farming Mindbenders gave me 20 drops in 105 runs. None had Slideshot/Quick Draw. On the bright side: I will be opening up my own shop in the tower where you can buy a roll with Pulse Monitor!
I AM UPSET
Having now caught up a bit, I am very impressed with Bungie's recent changes to D2 along with what they've previewed for The Witch Queen (and beyond).
The game has never had more cohesion, polish, and depth. I'm almost in disbelief that I'm excited about Destiny again.
