@neweyescansee @ALT1037DFW Alt 1037 is the worst option, by far, for Alternative in DFW. 88.7 KTCU and 91.7 KXT are the real Alternative stations in DFW. Commercial free, as well. Also, 88.1 Indie has a similar playlist to Alt 1037 but doesn’t have commercials.

@cureofthejaguar @kxtradio I’m not with KXT, but I’m pretty sure it’s Mdou Moctar-Imouhar. They play that in medium rotation.

@kxtradio I see a bright future with Waffles as Local Show host. The first show was fantastic…and the @QCNH interview was excellent as well. I want more radio like that. Also lay off on Hozier’s Too Sweet. Kiss FM and 88.1 have that song covered.

@ALT1037DFW …or everyone can just tune to 88.1 and get the same playlist and never have to worry about a commercial ever again…or your audience can tune to 91.7 or 88.7 and get a better playlist also without commercials.

@bluertwo @RadioLesJames @kxtradio Hmm…I’ll bite. KXT isn’t perfect. However, there’s never been a perfect radio station. There’s always going to be a few stinkers or questionable choices, especially when you cast as wide a net as KXT does. However, KXT is the only big DFW station that tries anything different.

@deepvellumbooks Papa Roach’s Last Resort. That’s too abrasive, and overplayed, for KXT. This’ll make me sick, but that’s more 88.1, 97.1, and 103.7 territory. Try to avoid 97.1 and 103.7 the rest of the time: a garbage product for the lowest common denominator.🤢

@RadioLesJames @RoyelOtis @kxtradio This is the ONLY instance where the hit “Alt” station actually beat y’all to a hit. They sponsored their show a month back. The rest of the time they’re lame-os who just copy KXT’s homework, though…and pretend they heard ‘em first.

@WassonWatch @kxtradio They’ve had that show, and ad, for years. My problem is that Sheroes is lame. KXT’s syndicated stuff just isn’t good. I’d love for KXT to drop the World Cafe, Sheroes, and E Town and focus more on their in house speciality stuff like the Local show.

@MrsNomad33 @wfaa Please try 91.7 KXT. It’s commercial free. It also has a much bigger playlist and much less repetition than 103.7. Also 88.1 KNTU is literally the same playlist as 103.7, but commercial free.

@themark23 All I want to say is that I don’t want you with a big conglomerate. I want you with a non comm. I want your role either expanded on your current station or on the other prominent non comm. Especially since the other non comm just lost their local show host.
